Greetings, dear children of the night!

There are new poems up by one of our newest members, Thank you so much for contributing to this community. I wasn't able to upload all the poems she sent by now, so there are more to follow. I am glad to have another poet with us!

We still need further contestants for Blood Magic. Deadline is the 30th of April. Please help to keep this community alive by participating. We'll need at least 2 more contestants, otherwise we'd have to cancel the contest.

And welcome to all the new members! Please feel free to choose your covenant and clan, it frees you from the UNBOUND status! You may wish to use our quizzes to do so. You'll find the links in the General Info section.

IMPORTANT BASIC INFORMATION:

Vampire The Requiem for Dummies
Hello out there! I just found out that there's a Vampire The Requiem book in the famous Dummies series. It's real fun to read! It doesn't offer much new material, but it's a great introduction to the game and presented in an easier-to-follow way than the core rulebook. You might want to check it out in your local bookstore or use amazon.com's Search Inside feature.

Since this club's main purpose is the spreading and hommage of VAMPIRE, THE REQUIEM, I finally decided to offer the opportunity to roleplay. You may invent your own character for this club as to make certain it's a fictional persona who is speaking, NOT the person behind it. If you do, please send a brief description of the character and her role as a fictional prose deviation to this club so it may be known to everyone and perhaps some background info that isn't for everybodys eyes to me as well. You may play your character in comments and postings as well as in personal notes I think this might really add life and fun to this club. Please consider that your character needs to be approved. Don't overdo the power level. If any questions considering your momentary status should arise, I might make some changes to that for fun's sake. Gaming may begin once your character is approved. If you are sending something that is your own oppinion, not that of the character, please mark this by an introductory "ooc" (out of character). Have fun!

STATUS SYSTEM
Everybody who has not yet won status through a contest is set to the neonate status. You may win status through contests or regular activity and climb the ladder to success. But beware of the harpies! Unbound members may win status, too, but they are not set to neonate at the beginning. Just another little gaming idea that might be worth trying. Don't take this too serious, it's just for the fun of it.
